"Path to the miracle"
Sometimes, life doesn’t speak to us in words.
It speaks in subtle vibrations — small shifts in the air, a kind of whisper that can only be heard not with the mind, but through the body.
In this painting, it’s not just a woman and a grasshopper meeting — it’s a person coming face to face with their deep, hidden sensitivity. The woman’s skin appears to crack — but not from breaking. It’s more like a shedding, a revealing.
As if the outer shell has become too tight for someone who’s ready to live differently: in raw contact with the world, without filters, without defenses — in true vulnerability.
The grasshopper, with its ultra-sensitive membranes on its legs, can detect even the slightest vibrations. It rests on her face gently, almost as if inviting her: “Feel the world not just with your ears, but with your skin, your breath, your whole being.”
Maybe you’ve known this feeling — when the silence becomes so deep it’s as if you’re about to hear the invisible. When your body picks up on something before your mind can explain it. When you don’t just react — you resonate.
This piece is a quiet reminder of something miraculous. The miracle of being so open that you stop feeling separate. You become part of the setting. A channel. Someone who can hear, even in silence.
The grasshopper's questions for your contemplation and reflection:
- Do you know how to listen — not with your ears, but with your skin, your heart, your intuition?
- What does your body respond to when you’re just there — without effort or expectation, fully present in the moment? Is it a subtle flutter in your chest? A wave of warmth in your belly? A soft weight grounding your feet? Or goosebumps spreading across your arms — a quiet sign that you’re sensing something much larger than yourself?
- And what might come alive inside you if you allowed yourself to listen more subtly, speak more honestly, and feel more freely?
